Recollection Studio ("we," "us") runs a trading-card photo booth for weddings and events. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and at our events, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain because that's how we'd want it.
Information you give us
- Booking & event details — when you use our booking or configuration forms, we collect your name, email address, event date, event type, and anything you choose to tell us about your event.
- Photos taken at the booth — if your event uses our booth, we capture the photos guests pose for and render them into cards. These are the product we deliver to you.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand basic, aggregate traffic — page views, referring sites, country, and device type. It is cookieless: it does not set cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build a personal profile of you. If you reached us from a link that carries campaign tags (for example, from our Instagram bio), those tags are recorded so we know which of our own channels sent you.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and hold or book your event date.
- To design, produce, and deliver your cards and digital photos.
- To send you event-related email you asked for (such as a copy of a card or next-step instructions).
- To understand, in aggregate, how people find and use our site.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos for advertising without your permission.
Service providers we share with
We use a small number of trusted services to run the business. They only receive what they need to do their job:
- Cloudflare — cookieless website analytics.
- Google Calendar — to schedule and hold event dates.
- Our email provider — to send the emails described above.
- Dropbox — to store and share your event's photo gallery and card files.
Cookies
Our website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Our analytics are cookieless, so you won't see a cookie-consent banner from us.
Data retention and your choices
We keep booking details and event files for as long as needed to serve you and for our own records, then delete them when they're no longer needed. You can ask us to access or delete your personal information, or to remove your photos from a shared gallery, at any time — just contact us.
The card game and guest lists
Some events run our optional card game. If yours does, here is exactly how the data behaves:
• Contact info never moves at the event. Scanning someone's card records that you met — nothing more. Emails are only ever exchanged afterwards, and only when both people privately say yes to an introduction. Saying no (or nothing) is invisible to the other person.
• Guest lists are the host's, and they expire. When a host turns on guest-list mode, they give us their guest names (and optionally emails and table info) so guests can pick themselves from a list instead of typing. That list is used only for their event — never for marketing — and is automatically deleted about 30 days after the event, including everyone who never attended or never claimed a card.
• What you keep is what you gave. If you claimed a card, the name and email you entered stay with your card per our normal retention above, and you can ask us to remove them any time.
Sealed notes and time capsules
Some events let you seal a note on a card that opens on a later date. When the note is for the host, it is anonymous: we never store an email with it, and only the host reads it. When an event runs the note as a time capsule to yourself, we store the email you gave the booth (or typed on the card page) with that note for one reason: to send you the link when it opens. It is not used for marketing and is never shared with the host, and you can ask us to delete the note and the address at any time.
Children
Our website and booking process are intended for adults. Children may of course appear in event photos with the permission of their parent or guardian and the event host.

If we change this policy we'll update the date above. Material changes will be reflected here on this page.
